Also known as Rain Lily or Zephyranthes atamasca, it appears after rains in spring in the southeast. Grows to 15" and the leaves and bulbs are toxic. This was found in Fountain, Florida in wet woods, and can be found in wet road shoulders and ditches. A March/April bloomer.
The flower stalk bears a single blossom of about three inches in diameter. Native to the southeast.
