Thatcher is a Florida panther residing at the Bear Creek Feline Center. The goal is to increase the number of Florida panthers, since they are dwindling rapidly.

    This was taken through the chainlink. That’s harder than you think. Thatcher had a huge “igloo” shelter and the light was coming in from the doorway. I was about 10 feet away on my knees trying not to get the mesh to show. Thank you for your kind comments. This was to be in a magazine article that never panned out.
