Be sure tomorrow will come

I was waiting, waiting for a while
Just to see you smile,
but all i saw were tears
and all of your hidden fears.
What was wrong?
I always thought you were strong.
On you my world did depend.
I thought i could without end.

So this time i hold out my hand,
just for you,
‘cause i don’t want to see you blue.
I will help you to see the sky.
I promise and that is no lie.
You have lightened up my days
In so many ways
When i was blue
And that is true.

Now it’s my turn to put the spark
Into the dark
And with a little good will
We will blow away the winters chills
Your grief and sorrow,
you can be sure, will leave until tomorrow.

- and then again when i feel bad
I’ll be glad
To wait for a little while
And see – perhaps – a little smile
To chase away
The clouds on a troubled day.

Be sure tomorrow will come
