As the clouds started to form and then part, I watched from the top of Mt Avalon the most beautiful sights that are hard to describe.. it’s not “what” you are seeing, but the fact that you have gone so far, you’re out of breath, tired, sore and well, the height is starting to work its magic in the vertigo category…. especially when the wind blows — and then you see the past, present and future in the paths below – the timeless depth of the valleys in the mountains below and know for sure that you are truly alive.
Taken August 2009 during one very beautiful hike through some of the Crawford Notch trails. Home of the Presidential Range in NH! All my thoughts…. are way down there…..
I love to fly….. that’s what I do and what I’ve ever wanted to do and now… well as you can see I am doing just that! Now the wonderful world opens up for others who may want to also fly and capture incredible shots… I have an extra seat up yonder! yup yup yup! (and insurance etc…. :-)

So many times along this trail I would look up at a wall of boulders.. or roots… and say “no way! is THAT the trail?!” NH trails are so full of surprises and obstacles it seems! lol! Worth the climb – the view from up there was absolute heaven! Thank you Jan! xoxo!
