Artist's Description

… AND he’s not to happy about it! Boy, talk about a messy face! Bigger than a blackbird with longer beak and very large keel shaped tale, these usually travel in flocks.
I have not seen any flocks, just the pair that show up now and then. I think they fend the other off! Much like my little squirrel friend -could be considered a pest but they tend to be more of a pest controller! lol!
Personally, pest or not – I love his persistence and wow – those colors when the light hits just right!
As is untouched from the camera. This was taken about an hour ago – it’s pouring out there! May 29th 2009. In Rumney NH.
