Ah yes, it’s getting colder! This is an actual shot taken inside the ice caves behind our house a couple years ago close to this time of year, untouched but enlarged (original was kinda small) – Mother nature sure is amazing !

    Thank you Frannie!!! Lol!! Yes – it is strange and even stranger in real life when I saw it for the first time – those icicles were several feet long!!! Coming right through the cave ceiling! The winters up here are quite a show! There are places where I feel as if I’ve left Earth and gone to another planet… Thrilled you like it! xx

    Thank you Leonie! It’s so strange how ice can find it’s way into the darndest places! The first time I saw these they were pretty big, about 1-2” in diameter and several feet long! Thrilled you like them!

    Lol!!! Dee…. well.. this is NH! Although today is rather on the warm side more into the 60’s…! I never know what the weather is going to be next – as you know it does get pretty strange looking up here in winter! lol! hugs!

    Thank you Elizabeth! These icicles were huge – several feet long and about 1-2 inches thick in places – they often hang down from the ceiling of the caves behind our house and every year slightly different. We never know what to expect! Thrilled you like it!! xx

    Thank you so much Bruce!!!! Those icicles are huge!! they were found expanding down one of the tops of the cave ceilings and I just could not resist! Every year I go up there and explore and every trip is never a disappointment! One of my favorite spots… Thrilled you like it!! xx

    Thank you so much BigD! These icicles get so huge too! Several feet long and there were 1-2 inches thick! Then the big big ones start showing up – 25-30ft high and around 3 ft in width! Very thrilled you like it!!! xx
