Went back home for a 4 day weekend, catch up with mates, watch the Newcastle Knights first game under the guidance of Wayne Bennett, and take advantage of the most photographic coastline around. Merewether is one of my favorite places, so my hopes were to get a magical sunrise loaded with powerful colours. Unfortunately, my timing was terrible. Instead i was greeted with torrential rain. With that being said, i love this image, i think the grey/blues in the sky and the misty water add an element to this scene just as powerful as a bright sunrise would have. Hope you all like it as much as i do.
I think this one is going to find it’s way onto the wall at home. :-)

Love the tones in this Max, works a treat, great job as always!

  • Thanks heaps Simone. I love this one, it looked awesome in the camera, one of those shots that gets you all exited to see it on the computer. I wish i could have got more opportunities to get some other locations while i was there, but the weather was the absolute worst. Love being back in my home town :-)
