Sounds of Then is a song written and performed by Aussie band Ganggajang in 1985. It was huge among the surf culture and in many ways is even more of an Aussie Anthem than “Downunder” is.
“This is Australia” , wide open land, fields, farms and summer storms in it’s most pure glory. The storms built up and passed overhead all day, coming directly off Bass Straight. So as I drove back to Cowes for the night, I had to stop and capture the essence of what this country is to me.

Blending to get a seamless stitch with contrast and level adjustments.
