Mentone Jetty – Mentone – Melbourne – Victoria – Australia
Canon EOS 450D – Canon 15 – 85mm EF-S Lens
Just came back from a whirlwind trip to Victoria. Caught up with some great friends while i was down there. Simone , Di and Neil .
After a cancelled flight, another cancelled flight and a delayed flight i arrived in Melbourne. Only to have the car rental company tell me that due to me being late, they gave my car away and had no cars available. Eventually sorted a car out and headed bayside to find a good spot to park and set up “Hotel Toyota Camry”. Cue Brighton Beach (Images to follow).
So the first image out of this trip is from Mentone Beach. The old Jetty Ruins. It was taken at around 8:30am, with the light of the sun shining from behind the jetty, casting a beautiful light across the beach and luminating the highlights in the distant clouds.
6 shot panorama, long exposure image stitched in PS CS5 and only levels, curves, unsharp mask adjusted. Denoise across the entire panorama.
