Just thought that after all these lighting tips I have been giving have been so well received…I’d give you all an insight into the day job!

This was a shoot for The new Ducati Supermono. a £35,000 hand built motorbike. The shots were featured in Ducati World Magazine in Italy and various other glossy mags worldwide.

Here you can see a few more lights in operation…7 in total plus various shoot throughs, refectors and of course the famous black bounce! Each light had a part to play and was metered accordingly.

Refections are always a nightmare with big shiney things like bikes…so the best thing to do is put the refections where you want them to be.

You can see one of the final shots inset…hope this is not too boring for you all…normal nude service will be resumed later!!!!

Over the last few years on RB, I have made many friends and I welcome all comments and a special big thank you to all of you who are favouring my work….. if you want to visit me then check out www.maxoperandi.com

Very cool. It’s nice to see the full layouts and diagrams. Always appreciate that. As I’ve kinda built my own home studio finally, the more info I get the better.

  • Cheers Matthew glad you’ve sorted the studio out…hopefully it will be a lot more tidy than mine!
