Without wishing to sound totally pretetious, this immediately made me think of portraits of Madame Recamier by the French painter Jacques Louis David (1748-1825), even though they weren’t nudes. It’s more to do with the tonality.There. Told it it sounded pretentious, but neverthless, it’s meant as a compliment. David was no slouch where his art was concerned, and neither are you. Stunning.
