water, acrylic, inks, colourful, waterlilies
So lovely and colourful Maureen. Acrylic inks?? I never heard of those before. Who makes them? Would they be similar to Indian inks?
Thank you again Orla for looking at my work.
Acrylic inks are liquid acrylics – not dyes, as in drawing inks. They are thin and highly saturated colour, so very economical!Mostly transparent, but some are opaque, they can be layered like watercolours, but as they are permanent, won’t dissolve under more liquid!I use Magic Color mostly, but also FW inks by Daler.

Very interesting. I must try those sometime, I like the idea of saturated colour.. You use these inks really nicely. Keep up the great work Maureen. :)
Lovely-such pretty colors and light
Orla, thank you – and sorry to be so late in saying that!
