Skateboarder becomes artist.

Days’ work resonates provocative street attitude that questions an ever changing environment.

Skateboarding provided the vehicle to explore this new land and meets its people. Rambling opened the eyes and mind of the artist within, whether in the industrial south of the central desert, Day found inspiration and expresses his experiences, observations through paint, word, sketch, photo and film.

In 1976, Day immigrated to Melbourne [AUS] from West Yorkshire [UK]. In 2006 he chose to make Central Australia his home. Day works with indigenous communities in remote areas.
Day creates from his studio in The Gosse Street Bower Studio in Alice Springs.
