Days’ work in multimedia paint, sketch, photography and poetry resonate provocative, bright and bold textures amplifying the street attitude that questions an ever changing environment.
In 1976, Day immigrated to Melbourne from West Yorkshire [UK].
Skateboarding provided the vehicle to explore this new land and its people. Such adventures opened the eyes and mind of the artist within.
Now residing in Alice Springs, Day works with indigenous communities in remote areas.
When he is not “out bush”, Day spends time at his Giles street studio
