Image of a Flabellina species taken at Blairgowrie Marina in Victoria.Used a snoot to narrow the light output of my strobe to about a 10 cent piece & placed it directly overhead giving this Nudibranch a transparent appearance. Around 20mm long

Hi Matt, Great shot. Was that you there the other day after Christmas with the white snoot. How do you find these. I am starting to pick up on them now, and have 5 different types to date. I got a new one today by chance when photographing a pair of Tambja. It was right next to them on the same piece of weed and I did not even see it until looking at the images at home.
Hi Mark, yes it was me, was wondering weather it was you as well. These nudis are quite common at the moment & although you can find them anywhere at Blairgowrie I usually find them near the base of pylons (good place for Tasseled Anglerfish as well) or in patches of weed, once you find one you will see them more frequently. Its always nice when you get something in a shot you didnt know was there, been happing a bit with my supermacro set up lately, cheers mate
