Another adventure to Indonesia for me,or more specifically Bali,10 days solid diving all the best Bali has to offer.Really looking forward to diving The Liberty Wreck which is the most dived wreck in South East Asia near Tulamben,also Padang Bai,Amuk Bay,Nusu Penida & Amed to name a few which are all located on the East side of the Island 2 hours from the hustle & bustle of Denpasar.Staying at Lotus Hotels in Candidasa,beachfront views,terraced rice fields & even an active volcano as a backdrop.Leaving early tomorrow morning,see you all when I get back with a swag of photos no doubt,cheers Matt

Hey Guys & Gals….back from 3 magical weeks in Indonesia,27 dives split between Alor & Komodo,heaps of sunshine,culture & great people.Have had a quick look through some of the work posted since I have been gone,simply awesome as usual,will attempt
to catch up soon.In the mean time have about 16 gig worth of raw files to process from my trip,mainly underwater of coarse,look forward to sharing some soon.Would like to thank Jack Wright,Girl With A Camera,Kyra Webb, PPV247 & Jenifer for watch listing me as well as all of those who have commented,faved or brought work,cheers

Hey Guys & Gals…..heading off tomorrow,Indonesia bound for three weeks of diving some of the best dive sites the world has to offer,cant wait.Brief stop overs in Darwin,Bali & West Timor before we embark on our 30 dives or so in Alor & Komodo National Park which is world heritage listed.No doubt many great photo opportunities with amazing ocean dwelling critters which I cant wait to share with you.I was working today in Trentham,Central Vic & it was snowing,weather in Indo is about 30 deg every day & water temp about the same :-)will spare a thought for all you Melbournians while Im out there doing what I love.Until I get back all the best Matt

Hey everyone,
no doubt everyone in or around Melbourne has heard about the channel deepening in Port Phillip Bay starting in Feb,here are some facts,
1/There are over 100 sponge species at the heads that can be found no where else on earth,there is a serious chance they could be lost(sediment covered)

2/Nitrogen balance is maintained by Benthic (seafloor)organisms,extensive areas would be covered,increasing the risk of toxic algal blooms.

3/Almost 4 million cubic meters of Yarra sediments containing heavy metels such as Cadmium,Mercury,Zinc,Lead,Arsenic & Ammonia will be dumped in the bay ,contaminants likely to re-enter the food chain,not to mention human risks to exposure.

4/An independant study of some mussels that were sampled & taken from the south end …
