Great job of light work .. Hey I just thought … Matt have you ever been bitten by one of these fellows ??
MattTworkowski replied
Hey Chuck….so sorry i havent replied sooner,I have never been bitten by one but have come close a couple of times now. They have a little warning sign when they have had enough by snapping their jaws together very hard which creates a very loud noise underwater. This gives you a real appreciation for the power of their jaws & I always move on at this point.I often think the only thing that saves me sometimes is the big camera housing between the Moray & myself, they seem to get mesmerized with their own reflection in the port, thanks as always for you comments & interest, cheers

Wonderful composition MAtt and amazingly sharp for under water … not to mention the shaking of hands being confronted by such a creature. Those teeth …

“What sharp teeth you have” !! You have done well Matt. If you had not said it was a night dive I would never have guessed.

Saw a moray eating, or rather shredding, a fish on a dive and respect them immensely now. Great image Matt.
