In The Shadows
In the shadows of Flinders pier large Bull Rays can be found searching the area for food scraps from fisherman,or shellfish which they suck up from the sand.Small fish also benefit from their activities and are always very close,rays also provide the fish with shelter from preditors.This ray was over 2 meters wide

Such a fantastic shot Matt. Like that you have him in flight with his wing up. and the fish in the background. I remember seeing one of these (probably the same one) the last time I dove at Flinders. Absolutely awesome when they swim under you. Scared the life out of me the first time.
