What a beautiful place this world is, another year is over and once again it’s been a mixed bag, like the image, there is great beauty on the surface but there may also be dangerous undercurrents. The unrest on the Bubble early in the year was a really trying time and although it seemed to fracture and destabilise the community it also forged other bonds that have endured and no doubt will go from strength to strength.
The year has been good to me in terms of meeting and connecting with new people as well as strengthening bonds with many of those I already knew. I’m blessed to have many good friends on the bubble and many who I’ve met off the bubble as well. Good people, real people with real lives, who have positive attitudes and wonderful outlooks and who are great company.
Apologies to all those whose comments I have not yet replied to and whose work I’ve often missed, sometimes it just seems to get out of hand but I do appreciate and value all your kind words and your art.
I thank you all very much for your support and friendship throughout 2011, and wish each and every one of you a Happy New Year.
