The Olgas, (Kata Tjuta), Northern Territory, Australia
I have uploaded a pic of Uluru and now this is one from the other main attraction of the national park. “The Olgas” or known as Kata Tjuta by the traditional owners.
I personally find Kata Tjuta more impressive than Uluru. Maybe because it isnt so publicised and the rock formations have to be seen to be appreciated. No single photo can really put a scale to it. Some of the best angles are the prohibited ones that you are not permitted to display / sell and I think that is why it is so special as those angles are for those who visit the area.
The Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park has many rules and it is an area with a lot of meaning to the aboriginal people so for those that visit make sure you respect the rules and dont shoot sensitive areas.
When shooting in the National Park there is a long list of rules and guidelines you need to obey and respect. All my images that have Uluru or Kata Tjuta in them need to be approved prior to public display or sale. This one I am safe to display as it don’t breach the rules, but I will still need to have it approved none the less. The web address below will give you all the info on how to do this.

Lovely capture Matt, good luck on getting your image licensed.

Hi Dave, it’s not a case of “Luck” in getting your images approved. As long as you follow the rules and guidelines of whats in your shot it is just a process you have to go through.

Fantastic light and of course the subject matter is nothing short of spectacular.
