Two Hearts formed from Wedding Rings by

I thought I would try to take the ubiquitous heart shadow an extra step…

Taken with a Nikon D200, Lensbaby 3g with a heart-shaped aperture giving about f4, lit with my trusty worklamp.

(The book providing the background is a Victorian magic book, open with a section on wedding ring magic.)

Ok Matthew, you had to do it…. BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • Thanks David! I like the way to two hearts blend together. Obviously playing with lighting and number of light sources would have different effects.

    You are welcome Matthew.

i am sincere in my comments to you matthew ~ your work is beautiful and spiritual and displays two hearts intertwined

well thought out and LOVEly work ~ even tho, i cannot quite make out all the text

    will you provide reference?

  • Hi Karon

The text is actually a Victorian magic book, the chapter is ‘Ring Magic’.

incidentally, it’s hard to spot but the blur should also be roughly heart-shaped.
