Excellent work!!
Matthew Walters replied
Thankyou. I really enjoy high-contrast mono’s, and was particularly pleased with the combination of Lensbaby blur and the mono conversion.

This photograph is truely beautiful. I am new to redbubble, and to photography. It is nice to have so many quality photographs in one place to inspire and drive ones desire. Thank you!!
Matthew Walters replied
Thanks! I’m glad you like this as it is one of my favourites.

Great shot and great effect. Just reminds me of London on a damp winter day – or for those with a sense of humour – the middle of summer!

Should be able to get this shot again some time over the next two weeks or so.
Thanks for the comment!
Marvin Tunstall
Awesome!
Matthew Walters replied
Thanks Marvin. I had to boos the sky as it was a little flat originally. I like the slightly foreboding look of the clouds now.

This is such a cool shot. Love it!
Matthew Walters replied
That’s great, thanks Shelly.
Chipper
THIS is how you shoot a subject that has been “shot to death”. You’ve inspired me.
Matthew Walters replied
That’s a great compliment, thanks Chipper.
Willard
I agree with Chipper. For me this shot is great because although seen many times before you’ve brought fresh originality and energy to it.

beautiful image and contrast, but i find the effects created by Lensbaby nauseating
Matthew Walters replied
Thanks for commenting. I’d agree, the Lensbaby effect isn’t to everyone’s taste.

This is great matthew. I love this angle of St Pauls. Great great pic. I love the contrast. South Bank is one of my favourite places in London. Well done
Matthew Walters replied 29 days ago
Thanks Marcell, for taking the time to visit and comment – I’m glad you like the shot.

Beautifully done, love the Lensbaby effect. If I had only one suggestion, it would be to clone out the cranes to the left, they aren’t part of the scene normally and distract the eye.
Matthew Walters replied 20 days ago
Thank you Yves. I might give the cloning a try, although I don’t want to disrupt the LB blur if I can help it. Maybe I’ll go back when the building work has finished!
