Artist's Description

A few months ago a friend snuck me into the shut down Naval Airbase of Moffett Field.

This old abandoned flight sim immediately caught my attention. It was just laying about in the middle of a parking lot…

It’s funny how our government’s military just throws things away much in the same way or manner as my ten year old daughter does. They just push it aside and forget that it’s there.

Nice to see our tax dollars at work…

I light painted the interior with a teal greenish gel over my flashlight to get a nice glowing effect. I also painted the foreground a little with the same combo. Other than that, the combination of mercury vapor and sodium vapor lights around the old Navy base did the rest of the job for me.
