Well joak, I wouldn’t go that far, but it certainly was worth getting dehydrated so badly that I needed to drink large amounts of water for the next three days… Thanks again for the encouraging words!

Definitely bring a gallon of water to any remote area of Death valley… and don’t hike it in the summer.

The dunes are beautiful, but deadly.

actually, I’m part camel. A little water goes a long way in my system. I actually loathe the taste of water (strange huh?) and have to force myself to drink each day. I’ll tell you however, that after I got back to the car, I must have drank a gallon.
