The biggest Lunar Rise of the Year
Kenny Gulley Jr. sent out emails telling us to look to the east as the sun set for the biggest moonrise of the year, so even though I was down and out with a cold, I did as I was told and this is the result. I caught this at dusk, just after it rose over the hillside.
The biggest Lunar Rise of the Year belongs to the following groups:
California Sound , Dawn and Dusk Light, Full Moon, Landscape Photography, Mood & Ambience - Strictly Photos, Mother Nature's Finest, Nature's Wonders, Night Photography, Shoot The Moon, The Addicted Photographer►2 Per Day◄ and The true beauty Available for sale asMatted Prints

Glad you captured this! Absolutely perfect! Fave! Worth every moment of pain afterwards?!
MattGranz replied
hmmm… no pain, I got to it by car… was beside my car when I shot this. I guess I created a good illusion of being on a hillside trail. Meanwhile, your words here are so kind Vicki, and I just have to say thank you once again!
Gary Kelly
Most impressive, and I love the simplicity of the 3 main elements. Bravo!
MattGranz replied
Thanks! I would have liked a fourth element, but none were to be found…
