Palenque Ruins

Panoramic shot of Palenque Ruins, in Chiapas, México. This was a Mayan city for several centuries, until the Spanish conquest in the 16th century. The photos were taken from the Temple of the Cross, and from the left you can see the Temple of the Sun, Temple XIV, Temple of Inscriptions, and Palacio. This is an amazing site in the Mexican jungle, and they are still uncovering new temples today.
