Can You See Me?

This Trumpetfish was doing a pretty good job at blending in with the Yellow Tangs, at Kealakekua Bay, Hawaii. The Trumpetfish is a predator, trying to ambush smaller fish by hiding amongst the Tangs, which are everywhere. This snorkelling site is at the Captain Cook Monument, on of the best sites on the island of Hawaii.

    Not at this particular spot, but we did see quite a few turtles this trip. The spinner dolphins in the bay were also pretty impressive!
