I live in Canada and I love to see the beauty and wonder in the world around me – any place and any time. Every January I consider that perhaps I should move from this northern place and … hmmm I suppose that slightly contradicts my first sentence. Nevertheless, I have been making cards and snapping photos for longer than I care to remember and am finally heeding the advice of numerous friends to make them available for a larger audience (that’s you). I am a fantastic single-tasker and make good bread and occasionally write something profound as well.

back from Cuba
Well, I just returned from a week in Cuba as you can see by my pictures. The beaches were lovely and stretched on forever, the people were friendly and relaxed and it did us good as North Americans to soak up a bit of that unrushed attitude. I have mixed feelings about staying at a resort so unrelated to the culture around it, but the goal was not a cultural experience nor a humanitarian ventur…
