I love how contrasty this is and its extremely powerful. My only issue here is the massive vignette on the sides. Was this natural or added in post?

Thanks. If I remember correctly from that time, it was a little of both.

Vicki Ferrari
LOL! Someone might actually pay you to do that, Matt!!!! :))
Matt Duncan replied
Ha! Well I’ve only heard you say good things Vicki, so I couldn’t confirm that. :)
Matt Duncan
I just wanted to say a special thank you for everyone taking the time to view and comment on this image. It was an unexpected level of response that REALLY did confirm my thoughts that it would work well in monotones.
It’s also been to an enjoyable experience to see people from so many different parts of the world have stopped by to comment.
It’s not something I had thought about when I was crouching down in wet and windy conditions, to take that photo.
The RB feature certainly helped gain this image a lot of exposure, and subsequently other works of mine. So thanks are warranted to the RB team for the selection to be featured.
Best regards,
Matt.
Donald Cameron
Really dramatic shot, I’d love to try something like this, were it not for the complete lack of lightning round my way!
