Looking back through my older photos of the Lake District. Taken two years ago when I spent nearly every season in the Lakes. It’s good to run through old pictures and look at them in new light.

A great collection from February when there was plenty of snow, lots of ice and good light.

Thirlmere doesn’t seem to get photographed that often, and the shoreline isn’t particularly attractive. But in the right light it makes for some great photographs!

I’ve had an interest in photography since my ‘dark room’ days at college. I enjoying taking both rural and urban landscapes as well as nature and wildlife.
