This here is Woody and she is the mother of four according to the local ranger. I shot a few of her and the family but still have yet to meet the father, whom is appropriately named Chucky!
I was trying to get a nice close-up the last time I shot her but failed in my last attempt. This time I lugged out the 200-500 and very sturnly told her to pose and hold it for me.
Just as I took this a fellow approched me and guilded my attention to a pair of Bald Eagles. Imagine my delight when the opportunity to photograph these majestic birds presented itself! I hope to be there in the mornings to get them fishing out on the Potomac. Till next time.
