join a local club read lots of books get to know what all the buttons on your camera mean and do take your camera with you everywhere join/view forums like fredmiranda.com, dgrin.com, dpreview.com pick up some photo magazines analyze every image you see (i.e. billboards, ads, television, newspaper…etc) and ask yourself why you like/don’t like it practice practice practice
That should keep you busy for a while… :)
P.S. Also, if you see an image here (or anywhere else), don’t be afraid to ask the photographer any questions. You might be surprised by the amount of information they are willing to provide. cheers
