Earthquake
We had a small earthquake a few days ago and I was inspired to play with one of my downtown shots. I love all the different architectural styles.

Great shot… I really like the effect… makes you think about how it feels to have the stress of that potential reality coming to the forefront… I’ve only experienced a couple of earthquakes in my childhood… and where I live now, they’re an impossibility so I don’t usually have to worry about them… tornadoes on the other hand… :o

Well, SF is earthquake capital in lots of people’s minds even though we don’t have that many, really. I kind of like them as long as a building isn’t falling down on my head or something. I used cracks as well as a few shots that I have been taking of purposeful blurs -adds color without context.
