Miss my friends in Australia

Many thanks to my lovely friends in Australia for making my holiday a fantastic experience.
The hospitability was overwhelming and thanks to them I’ve visited such beautiful places.
I was sad to leave and return to cold and rainy Holland.
But I’ll be back.
And never to leave this beloved land again.

I couldn’t live any where else but New South Wales but wouldn’t mind walking through a wet and rainy Gouda, just once or twice more.
I am a tulip under the gum trees, as Eef ten Brummelaar called us.
Hope you’ll be happy. Very best wishes.

MaryO Australia is itching to unveil more of itself to you. We miss you, and I’m sure your other friends Down Under do too (including all those four-legged friends who always felt so special with you around).

    Take care.

    Dear friends,
    I’ll be back.
“In thunder, lightning, or in rain?”
But hopefuly in warm and sunny days too.

Like Jay Vee, Tine: Sydney too, is in the grip of some extreme weather. I see that you were still up at about 11:15 p.m., in Holland about 10 minutes ago, on your Thursday night.
So, in sunny Sydney it is now 9:25 a.m., on Friday morning and I have closed the curtains, as much as possible to save on the air-conditioning, later in the day.
Still…...I DO love a sunburnt country!!!
