Never Alone

This was written to display alongside a photograph, also titled ‘Never Alone’.

I noticed a tree in the centre of a field – one tree in a vast open space.
Simply to frame it, I took my shot through a gap in a hedge.

The words came very easily when I viewed the image on my PC screen.

No one is ever alone:
no matter how lonely we feel;
how depressed.

God made sure of this
from the very beginning.
He prepared the perfect home for us;
provided for all our needs
even before our creation.

He was determined
that we would want for nothing;
that we would never want for comfort..

Even when we cannot see
beyond our own despair;
when all seems dark
we are never alone.

He provided
a network of similar creation,
bound together by
His love for us.

Alone in a room;
seemingly unknown in a crowd;
in a desolate field of dismay.
We need have no fear.

The despair is hedged
by those who care;
by those brought forth out of
love and empathy.

In and through this hedge,
accross the void,
He reaches toward us;
To enfold us in those very arms that held,
against The Cross
His beloved Son.

No one is ever alone…

    I have limited PC and technical knowledge…. and time!
    I think my camera may be capable of more than I thought – I need to find the ,manual and start reading. Thanks again.
