Hello there!
My name is Mary Carter and I’m currently a student in the School of the Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University, studying in the Communication Arts: Illustration, Drawing and Visual Studies Department. I hope to enter in the Illustration field, with a focus on one of the following: editoral illustration, scientific/medical illustration, concept art, character design or children’s illustration. In my gallery, you will probably find a mix of school work, commission work, and personal work, ranging from high school to my current college projects. I enjoy working in traditional media, as well as digital.
I appreciate receiving feedback, and helping to provide other artists with the same in return. I aim to continue improving my skills and abilities as an artist and imaginative thinker, and I am excited about the fact that I still have so much more to learn.
