I’m an aspiring writer. I have an obsession with the written word that could be considered unhealthy. I love trying new things and meeting new people. I like to people watch. I love music of all kinds… sometimes it moves me to tears. I love art. It feeds my soul. I love the Victorian period. I enjoy looking at old photographs and collecting antique cameos. I’m a jack of all trades, but master of none. My laptop’s name is lucille. I remodel old battered furniture. Almost everything in my home has a meaning or a story. I like interior decorating- love toile fabric. I am ambitious and stubborn- which can be annoying. I am working on my Spanish and slowly learning German. I dress like a “hobo” (so my mother says). I just look at people differently. I look at the person, not the shell. I’m brutally honest and say the wrong thing most of the time. I guess you could call me abrasive. I love my family and friends more than life itself. I want to experience everything life has to offer. I have often been described as an old woman inside of a younger person’s body. I guess I have an old soul. Sorry if this is so random- but it fits me. I’m very talkative- so bubblemail me if you want to chat sometime.

I’m currently working on a Teen/YA novel, “Awakened”. It needs a lot of work, but I am plugging along trying to finish the story before I go back and edit. Blank pages intimidate me. The poetry I write is an extension of myself. I feel it… think it… experience it. My life is a roller coaster ride… my best friends are the ones who hold on tight and come along for the ride. :)
