I wish to thank a special person/artist whom I have never met but admire alot. Her name is Mariaan Krog. She lives in South Africa, Ive never been but some day I hope to travel to there. She is a very good artist and from seeing her work on ArtWanted.com and reading her blog there I found out about RedBubble. Mariaan, thank you so very much for the honors. And and exposure we can share is appreciatiated. Your work is just so beutiful to me I show it to everyone I can. I love some of your photography, I just recently recieved a minolta 35mm and am begining to explore its posibilities. Do you do your own developing and if so can you give me advice? Another question Ive seen severeal pictures that I would LOVE to paint with your permission. What do you think can we colaberate? Let me know your thoughts.

Re the photos: I have a digital camera and after capturing, I download the images on computer. I usually just crop them to fit properly and to remove the date & time stamps. I do occasionally enhance (only toning) them, but then I would mention it as background! I haven’t taken photos with my Pentax 35mm SLR in years! When my dad was still alive, we used to do developing ourselves in his dark room. I am afraid that after his death, my mom changed this room into a sunroom for herself and my brother inherited all his photographic equipment and chemicals & photo paper, etc.
The photo software I am using for the digital camera is old & outdated I know, but I know them well and love to use them. They are Stoik Imaging, Corel Photo Paint, Corel Draw & Snapshot Express.

Hello, to all!!
I am making the biggest leap of faith of my life.!!! We have sold our home, and are leaving the norcal area so I can pursue my dream of painting the western US !!!! pleinair all the way baby.!!!! We begin our adventure shortly after the 16th of June!!! I will try to keep you all up to date on our adventure, so until then from my wife Jo and myself wish you all farewell solong and goodbye.
