Thanks took a lot of planning to get that shot . Was well worth it though . It’s an amazingly beautiful place . Hope to go back next year . Still have a lot of photos to edit from that trip .

    Fantastic, Marvin! Awesome!!!!!!!

Thanks that mountain is one of the most photographed in the world and yet not that many people recognize it’s name even in this state Washington where it is located . It’s pretty far away from any town or city . That probably has something to do with it ; )

Great shot! I like the blue water and reflection.

  • Marvin Hayes replied

Thanks , a lot of people think the colors are not true but they are pretty close to what it is in reality . On a bight clear fall day it is very intense . In fact when I took that shot it was considered a bad year for fall color . A good day for a sunny shot though : )

I know I’m so slow ;) I’ve been having ongoing computer problems or should I say Microsoft problems ;/ On WS I just put stuff up and didn’t think about if it has product value or not . Here one has to think more about what resolution images are in and print quality etc..I know , I really should quit making excuses , get on the ball and start loading more of my work ;-/

ooohhhh, a dream spot for our next vacation.

  • Marvin Hayes replied

I would highly recommend the trip .In less than a half hour you can see Picture Lake with Mount Shuksan reflected in it . Go up the hill to Artist Point and see Shuksan and Mount Baker as if they were beside each other ( They are 11 miles apart ) 2 of the largest most beautiful mountains in North America . And Heather Meadows down below on the way out ;) All fairly isolated from civilization . No hiking required really .And they even have real bathrooms ( sort of ;) Even a person in a wheel chair could see a lot of what’s there .
