Hi Martyn, read your forum post and wandered over to take a peek at your portfolio – I was immediately drawn to this shot! To see these guys up close and personal must have been awesome! it’s fantastic.

Hi Alixzandra, it sure was impressive. unfortunately most of the statues on the island have been moved into place where they stand around the island. BUT here in the quarry, they lie in there original positions from when they were originally chisseled out of the rock. If this one was completed it would probably have stood at least another half the size you see.
