This is a panorama stitch of 6 portrait shots blended together in photoshop. As a result there is a great amount of detail. Various fishermen and people walking their dogs and riding bikes can be seen at the edge of the lake, even a heron can be made out on a small pontoon in the middle of the water. I have spent a lot of time post processing the image to bring out colours in the trees and to give the image a slightly painterly feel to it and obviously added a heavy vignette. I have a version of this printed over a meter wide that looks stunning, but my local picture framer couldn’t make a frame large enough for it! I will at some point get it framed though and up on the wall.
