Trees in a Misty Field

I took this shot on a walk in the southern end of the Peak District. This was from the start of the walk, we had been shrouded in mist throught the drive up there but as we pulled into the little village at the start of the walk the mist cleared revealing the blue skys above. As we descended down between the trees the mist retuned and remained a thick blanket around us for the rest of the 6 mile walk which took in Thors Cave.

This version of the shot I converted to black and white using the Silver Effects plug in from Nik Software for Photoshop and I liked this a little more than the version I created in Nikon Capture NX.
