Master's Plan
After looking at Gail’s photo for a few moments, I began to see faces in the rock formations and felt inspired to write. I was reminded of all the blank and yet arrogant faces I’ve encountered over the years of those claiming not to believe in God.
Master's Plan belongs to the following groups:
Living ChristianitySolemn Profiles reflecting the passing of time…
Overshadowing a pool,
Perhaps filled with the tears shed,
By the whole of mankind.
Expressionless faces no words can they speak…
As year after year passes, their faces,
Become just a little more weathered,
Just a little more bleak.
Yet in regal pride they ever stand…
As if waiting for something unknown,
As if waiting for some master plan!
And so it is with humanity as a whole…
Projecting a countenance of pride so bold,
Yet standing in fear of the great unknown.
Expressionless faces who know not, what it is they seek…
Weathered by time, and the thought,
Of a future ever so bleak.
Would that they only knew, God is the answer,
For there is indeed a master plan…
For faith in Christ has forever established,
The power to heal and redeem,
The ever decaying state of fallen man!

Sometimes we forget that there is a master plan and it’s wisdom is not revealed to us but in hindsight. A bigger plan, much more than I can imagine is not always within my reach but it is always in His. And I am so glad to be guided by His master plan. Excellent writing, Martin. You always put a lot of heart and feeling into everything you write.

Thank you so much Judi, I guess once I see something that speaks to my heart, I then try to express it to others with the same intense feeling I was struck with! Your words as always are greatly appreciated. :-)

Mans hard & expressionless faces reflect their heart & is also a pride issue.Trying to forge their own plans, not accepting that there is One who has the master plan & who will uplift them & see them through until the end.

Hard faces quite oftern equals stubborness, pride, unforgiveness and hatred.

Interesting that you see man’s face in a rock. Nice metaphor and message.

Thank you Natella, not so interesting when you think about it, Just look at all the people in the world today that act like they have rocks in their head instead of brains??? :-)
