Oh, I can just see this standing white and stately beckoning people to come in! What a shame to let it fall down like this!
It may be covered in vines Pauline but actually, the people who own the property now are keeping it up. You can’t see the back wall but they are doing repairs to it and have removed the rotted window trim from the inside of a couple of windows so it won’t rot further. It’s so nice to find someone who cares enough about these old buildings to make the effort. Hopefully they’ll get to repairing the front doorway too to keep the rain and snow out of the entrance. I would have loved to see it back in the day, freshly painted. What a sight it would have been!
