Lansing Street in Mendocino, CA by

This is a view down Lansing Street from the cemetery at the top of the hill. From here it looks like the street goes into the ocean. The Masonic Hall on the right side of the street is on the National Register of Historic Places.

I live in the Bay Area of Northern California, though I consider Wisconsin my home state. My work background is in social services, and I currently work with seniors when I am not substitute teaching.
Luckily, my dear husband and children are usually patient with me while I stop to take pictures everywhere we go. Among my favorite things to photograph are rusty and/or vintage objects and the unexpected moments, whether it’s weird animal behavior or objects in strange locations.

What a beautiful seaside town. I love California for these sights.

  • California does have a lot of beauty and this is a particularly picturesque town.
