The ruin I have painted before from a different perspective. The other version I did is called Dusk, and is painted from a different angle.

Intriguing work! Makes you want to know the story of this building! I really love the way you have done the doorways, nice effect!
They have old beams over the doors but for how long I don’t know since they are exposed to the weather at every angle now. Last time I drove by the ruin, there was a for sale sign and I didn’t know if it was the corner where it is located or a house further in. I can’t imagine the area without this, but times do change. Thanks for your comment Angie.

Leave a lot to the imigination, Marriet!
I don’t know how to do that yet. There are so many roads to take in this fun ambition.
I look forward to getting back a studio of some kind (a large desk would do) and participating in some workshops. I started to so things big, full sheets, and I haven’t got the room to do that at the moment. Perhaps some miniatures would be a good idea! Thanks for commenting Sally.

yesterdays safe haven, todays, falling bricks and stone, nice feel here of a once lived harbor of many generations
Thank you. It’s a small building, but I don’t know what it could have been used for. Nevertheless,
I like it and have kept an eye on it for many years!

This is so very charming ~love the simplicity !
Thanks for the fave and the comment, Renee! It is simply a ruin on a corner
and one many people note, consciously or subconsciously. I started seeing
it in my college days when it still had a roof.
