SOME SAY THIS IS DOING THE RIGHT THING
WHEN NO ONE IS LOOKING,
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE RIGHT THING FOR ME
ISN’T WHAT YOU THOUGHT,
WHAT IF MY INTEGRITY DOESN’T FIT INTO YOUR BOX?
IS THIS DEFIANCE,
OR ME BEING SELF RELIANT
AND IN COMPLIANCE
WITH THIS WORD INTEGRITY
AND HOW IT COINCIDES WITH MY MENTALITY
WHY QUESTION MY VISION OF WHAT THIS WORD TRULY MEANS
GOOD IS GOOD
BAD IS BAD
YET THERE’S INTEGRITY IN BOTH THINGS
LACK OF UNDERSTANDING MAKES ONE BELIEVE THAT I WRITE THESE WORDS PURELY TO ENTERTAIN,
THE TRUTH IS THEY KEEP ME SANE
BECAUSE
MY BRAIN
CAN’T CONTAIN
THE STRAIN
NOR THE PAIN….
IT’S INTEGRITY ALL THE SAME.
IF I LACKED IT,
SHIT
WOULD BE TRAJIC.

Oh, you have made quite the point here!! Is one person’s integrity another’s demise? Is intention enough to excuse us, explain us, bring understand? To our own selves and our own understanding, we must live with integrity!! What else an we go by? As we make the effort to understand, we are more understood, no?

We joke so much, I sometimes forget how to be serious with you. This is a good thing by the way. You’ve been a success at melting down all of my barriers.
