THE JUDGE AND THE JURY

all the laughter
and
chitter-chatter
stopped…
at the site of my dreadlocks,
or maybe it was my loose jeans
and big lips
that made them throw me at the mercy of THE JUDGE
knowing that he would convict
because I am too outspoken,
and not afraid to,
express myself,
and be myself,
refusing to be a slave to,
the
ideas
concepts
and perceptions
of the jury

my vision isn’t blurry

so I ordered my food to-go
because I had to,
and was glad to….
satisfied with being and abstraction
paying them no mind,
because this shit always happens
I understand,
that being understood,
is too much like
right,
so I keep God close
and pray for those same people at night,
I have to rid myself of grudges,
for the jurors,
and the judges,
because I opt to live,
for they know not what they do,
still it’s my choice to forgive,
and be the change I am looking for,
rather than squandering time,
trying to even the score,
with useless disputes,
about my roots
the truth
is just that-
THE TRUTH..
I represent the beauty of darkness,
my mental sharpness,
protects me
and let’s me
see through that nonsense
and focus on my destiny,
I have no need to
please you
or carry myself beneath you

My plea for being one of the illest ricardo perez jr 9-25-09
The sickest
The hardest
Yet intelligent
Overturned !
due to failure of standardized appearance of the following
As if my looks ever had to do with my life
As if these feelings would not arise on a simple twist of my fate
Like that ever effected the mental capacity to absorb
or ability to retain
This chair did not come with a guarantee that I was blocked
or protected from the harshness of a normal life as yourself
My condition did not come with a warranty as if my health breaking
will some how get me a new life
Never did my birth certificate state that in any case that
this child develop a mental or physical condition
it shall shield him from domestic situations
Never did it provide me a card to have both parents there
in an instant
No restrictions were set on love
how much was given to me ,and or how much i could distribute
My condition never blessed me
not to be not attracted towards the opposite sex
nor did it guard me from having my heart broken
MD didn’t stand for more drugs
yet it’s what was to be
addict or tambourine man
a bit of both
No insurance for friends in case of betrayal or thieves
It did not say to follow a specific way of life or customs
No where in the fine print of my DNA’s genetics did it limit the
amount of goals to set for me,
myself !
I speak for myself to not confuse with similar circumstances
So people of the jury
I shit on the verdict !
And hereby declare openly,
your laws of life are not based on facts
rather assumption’s of thought’s of other cases similar
I guess I’m self proclaimed on facts of my journey

They try to pierce me
My mentality is my only protection
