So excited to WIN a photographic competition

Posted 2 months ago

Winner of the Melbourne Open House Series Competition: Russell Place Substation
Review: _A series needs to tell a story and take the viewer on a journey. Often photographic series are weak as the images do not fit together cohesively. Marnie has produced a beautiful story of building details that work individually and as a collective. Through abstraction she has provided powerful glimpses of…

Africa, all those years ago

Posted about 1 year ago

I have always been glued to tv documentaries about Africa, way back when ‘The World Around Us’ was on (I was 6 years old). So when I travelled to Africa back in 2001, whoah 7 years ago, it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done.

From trekking to see the mountain gorillas, being charged by a hippo, taking photos, meeting wonderful friends, talking swahili to a zanzibarian, learning about af…

Online Photo Storage

Posted about 1 year ago

My sister is travelling overseas and would love to know what site she can upload her digital photos to for safe storage, then on returning to Australia she can download them all for sorting and printing.

Ive been researching and found Shutterfly and Photobucket, but they dont mention getting them back off at hi-res. Any thoughts on https://www.mediamax.com ?

Thanks, Marnie

Golf Shoot

Posted about 1 year ago

I have a golf shoot booked for March. Any sport photographers out there with any tips for me? It’s a corporate golf day for 72 participants in 18 teams. They have requested individual shots and team shots. Runs over 3 hours.

The images will run on a screen during the evening dinner.

Any tips for great golf pics?

Thanks!

Anyone know where beginner photographer can learn DSLR skills and tips in a day/session?

It’s for a 60th present my friend is after in Melbourne.

Thanks and also thanks from my friend!

Perhaps a button that hides them for customers outside RB, and a button to hide even from other Redbubblers. That way…

Know anyone who needs a graphic designer?

Posted about 1 year ago

Well it’s a new year and it would be great to get stuck into working with a new company.

I’m looking for a part time/contract/freelance position in Melbourne.

Feel free to pass my website, marnie.com.au on to anyone who possibly needs a graphic designer or even needs a hand getting through their own design work.

Let me know if you would like further info…
