These Jordanian musicians played Yankee Doodle on the bagpipes/drums for us American tourists. It was quite the experience.

    Indeed quite an incongruent situation of hearing bagpipe music played in an archeological location.. Anything to bring excitement and interest for foreigners so that they will visit this location. I find this image quite unique, fun and interesting. Thanks for sharing with the Art of the Middle East group.

    Thank you for your encouraging comments. The city was so fantastic, they needed no gimmicks, but I know tourism in Jordan is not what they would wish it to be, so I understand them trying as hard as they can.
