Image of a brave photographer at Sheldon Reynolds Falls captured with a Canon 5D Mark II.
Sheldon Reynolds Falls and Kitchen Creek were blanketed with ice during a deep winter freeze. The waterfall is 36 feet tall and is one of 22 named waterfalls at Ricketts Glen State Park located near Red Rock, PA.
I spent the day hiking Falls Trail and Ganoga Glen with Jim and Lori Deiter (Fellow Red Bubbler)
The falls and trails were covered with snow and some ice and are considered dangerous in winter. Winter hiking is only permitted with proper equipment (Crampons, ice axe, climbing rope) and should not be attempted alone.
